Thank you for taking a moment to visit our webpage. Please excuse it's rough and partially constructed condition. We are actively working on publishing our playtest rulebook and organizing our upcoming playtest event in August. This event will be free to anyone interested in particiapting.
We are starting a new LARP in New England called Tales from the Redwood. This LARP focuses on collaborative story telling, streamlined combat mechanics; and a rewarding experience where your choices have meaningful consequences. We are hosting our event at the quiet and rustic Camp Blanchard in Sutton Massachusetts.
Everyone is free to arrive any time after noon on Friday August 28th. Staff will be setting up the campsite for the event at that time. Someone will direct you where to park and what your options are for staying over night. Camp Blanchard has limited "indoor" options for sleeping and we anticipate that many of our attendees will be sleeping in tents. If you have questions about the exact limitations for "indoor" sleeping arrangements, please send us an email; we can discuss this further with you.
Check in will be at 1PM on Friday. You will need to bring a valid form of ID. If you are under the age of 18, one of your parents or legal guardians will need to drop you off, accompany you while you check in, and you will need to have the parental consent form filled out. During check in, we will inspect your armor, weapons and spell packets for safety.
Everyone should congregate in the Tavern once they have unpacked and checked in. We will have an opening meeting, let everyone know what we have planned for the weekend and the game will start. Dinner will be served that evening and everyone can expect to go to sleep at a reasonable hour without being woken up by annoying combat or roleplay.
Saturday morning will start with a brunch, some casual meal time roleplay and the game will resume its full swing. Dinner will be held in the evening. Everyone can expect to go to sleep at a reasonable hour without being woken up by annoying combat or roleplay.
Sunday will also start with a brunch, some casual meal time roleplay and the game will resume its full swing. Sunday afternoon the game will finish, everyone should congregate in the tavern, a closing meeting will be held, everyone is expected to clean up after themselves and help staff pack up. Check out can occur at any time after the closing meeting.
